Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

Introduction

World ICT Blog respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have implemented the following policy to address claims of copyright infringement.

1. Notification of Infringement

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that the material you posted on World ICT Blog was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Designated Copyright Agent containing the following information:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district, or if your address is outside the United States, the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which World ICT Blog may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

4. Repeat Infringers

World ICT Blog will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of the copyrights of others.

5. Changes to This Policy

World ICT Blog reserves the right to modify this DMCA Notice at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the site constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
